EOS
They launched EOS in an ICO in June 2017. The platform was supposed to launch in June 2018 and be the direct competitor to Ethereum and NEO. Dan Larimer is the creator of EOS and the founder of the cryptocurrencies exchange Bitshares and the blogging sits Steemit, which deals with blockchain content.
EOS is more scalable than Ethereum as it uses an advanced mechanism where they combined Delegated Proof of Stake and Byzantine Fault Tolerance in the verification of the transactions. Allegedly, they can hit up to 10,000 to 100,000 transactions per second.
They support several languages including C++
The big issue here is that the platform has not been publicly launched yet, and no one knows for sure how good this will be. However, the ICO has raised about $700 million by January 2018. They have raised more since then. You can check the details on their website.
