How to Move Private Keys from One Wallet to Another

This is a procedure that is safe if you follow the instructions carefully. You will need to know what the three main things are;

• Backup- This is the file containing the private key information. They can be exported from a wallet or imported into one.
• Export- It is the process by which we create a file with the private key. Exported keys can then be imported into the new or different wallet that you need them to be in.
• Import- This is gaining control of the crypto using an exported backup.

You will need to open the wallet you need to export. Tap on settings and then go to options and there, you will find the extra options you need to use for this function. Among them, you will find an option to export the wallet. Choose a strong password. Something that someone would have difficulty guessing.

Then you will copy to the clipboard or sending it by email. Always check the ‘DO NOT INCLUDE PRIVATE KEY’ option. Be safe when doing this.
